MUSCATINE, Iowa — That President Barack Obama’s campaign organizers chose Muscatine for its 10th campaign office in Iowa demonstrates how in play Democrats believe the Pearl City will be on Nov. 6. Campaign officials joined local office-holders and candidates Saturday for an open house at the new Democratic campaign office, at 1012 E. 9th St. A crowd of about 60 people (and one empty chair) was on hand to hear from them. |
