You might need to think about this before answering:

If you knew, without a doubt, that reincranation was a reality, would you wish to speed up your life or slow it down?

I'd slow it down. I'm in no hurry to come back as a cockroach or horsefly.

I'd let it play out as scheduled.   To speed it up I might miss something.   To slow it down would likely result in a lot of misery when I ran out of money and was in very poor health and all my friends were dead.

Buddha believed that you would come back to a better life if you lived the present one correctly.   Worse if you didn't.   I wouldn't fear coming back as a horsefly.

Buddha believed in reincarnation. I don't and wouldn't chance it if the choice were mine. Who would want to come back to this world as it is now, no matter how much better off you came back as? To come back to a better life, you would have to go to a better place, and that is not reincarnation.

If I could come back with a stronger body, fuller purse and to a time period I choose, maybe then I would. But, not as things here are now or are going to be in the near future.
