I see too much national and world political crap on here. How about some Muscatine issues like:

The new theaters will fail within two years. No one is going to come all the way to Muscatine to watch a movie that's out of focus or too loud or quiet. That's why I quit going to the mall theaters and I doubt Fridley can afford to hire a higher caliber projectionist.

I am sick of seeing empty buildings. I think the city should claim the Hardee's, Aldi's and Kum & Go buildings or charge a higher property tax for an empty building. It probably costs the city more to protect those vacant properties from vandalism and other criminal activities.

Some people don't like the traffic cameras, because they say it's bad for tourists who visit and come home to find a ticket in their mailbox. That's wrong. I find it offensive that people think that just because they're visiting, they're above the law.

Would you people please stop waiving others through the four-way stop when you and I know you have the right of way? I actually had a guy flip me off when I refused to go. I'm sorry butt-head, but I took drivers ed. I know what I'm doing. You're not being polite. You're being stupid. Just go. Go. GO!

Another traffic pet peeve. When you turn left, don't turn into my lane. I had a lady almost clip me at 9th and Cypress. Madam, you're not driving an 18 wheeler.

Finally, what's with all the child molesters in this town? Seems every week there's at least one story in the paper about someone molesting a child. Creepy.

You, and everyone, have always had the right to post anything on this site.

The newest projectionist equipment can't  be utilized for the new theatre?

Why would the city have any expense at protecting vacant properties as you suggest? The city does not own them.

Cameras are only fund generators; not deterents!

T. You wore this pet peeve out a few years ago on this site.

Not town; but county! I can't help you with that; the state of Iowa maintains a sex violator list on their website. Creepy!

I did not know the police only protect city owned property. Does the same hold true for the fire department?
