When you vote, they check your name against the registration lists and check your name off when they give you the ballot. That registration list has several bits of information about you including gender. Also age, address, precinct, identification number, and at least at one time your past voting history. After the election, it is easy to tabulate the gender of all voters.
It may be anonymous who you voted for but not anonymous that you voted.
But the other indication women voters don't care much for Republicans is the election results. Democrats beat Republicans. More women were elected to office. |

I think it includes party affiliation too so one could compare it to older registration lists and check how the women have shifted to the Democratic party. That would be a good learning experience for you. If you can handle the statistics. |
