Well Jim, you Taliban, how many people dies after Bush landed on the Carrier and declared "the war is over"?
BS can be a stickler for precision in others. He, of course exempts himself. Let's see if he accepts "Mission Accomplished". Not actually declared by G. W. himself, but on a huge banner, ordered and printed by the White House, displayed behind him on the carrier.
I knew he wouldn't. He's exempt.
Stoopid! The banner was for the carrier that had just finished it's tour of duty. Its mission was accomplished in the mid-east. A high honor; for sure!
Any numbskull could have looked that up. I guess we know where that places you two. But the truth does not fit your agenda, does it, miss know it all?
But wait....you didn't already know this after all these years?
You can look it up and find that the White House signed off on it and the White House produced it. You can also find where Rumsfeld says the phrase "Mission Accomplished" was originaly in the speech and he had it removed. I believe he is quoted as saying "They fixed the speech but not the sign".
Of course you can find the alternate explanation a hundred places if you like.
