As always, you've got this all correct. It is the same in my world. Heavy energy projects have come to a halt. Mostly little projects are all that get permitted for construction. When I'm out on these smaller projects today, folks like the union welders who are almost starving for work in America, are all saying how tough it is. I then direct them to the Dept of Energy and Fed Energy Reg Commission websites (both nobama admin) and ask them to look for the lists of permitted projects. Then I ask them why their business representatives direct them to, and use their dues to, support liberals, who control the permit departments there. Then I ask them to ask their gov't reps why this is. They never bring any of this up the next time I see them! It is the "I can't say anything or I will not be invited to the next project"- mentality.
And that is sad for America.
