Is there anyone here who is involved with the CLAM organization? 

The poster who call himself republican claimed some time back that he attended a meeting. Can't remember if he said he joined but he sure rags on GPC all the time so it follows that he is involved with that organization. What I never quite understood was their going to meetings that "local" Iowa representatives held once a month and griped about "air quality" and of course excoriating GPC, when it has been widely broadcast that GPC is building a new kind of air scrubber to the tune of 100 million bucks. Too bad there was not a magic wand to create that air scrubber right then and there. Did they expect operations would cease at the plant until that was built?

BTW I am not involved with CLAM.

However, I do breathe their wistful air from time to time and I actually like that smell of corn processing....if that is what it is. Maybe it's the starch; I don't know!  It just so rarely gets to our place. But, it's a neat smell. I feel as though it is progress and the farmers get their wares delivered and processed . Shit....Tyson foods in Junction stinks but everyone eats their pork and bef products. WTF?

I'm not a CLAM member, but I do belong to MALC (clam spelled backwards).  MALC is an organization whose motto is "Make Liberals All Cough".   What we do is, see, buy clean air from Walmart, add some taco sauce fumes to it (cause we're just mean that way), and force captured liberals to breath it in our specially rigged Casey's rest room.  We record the coughing and sell it back to the libs (they're kinda dumb that way).  They evidently find uses for it in their ambulance chaser politically motivated union court cases.
