I'm surprised you would bring this up.   It invites comparison to the previous President.

The deaths by terrorists acts have no where reached those under Bush.   Hardly scratched the surface.   Three in Boston.    Three thousand in New York.

And what was Bush doing while we were under the worst terrorist attack in our history?   Reading a book to some elementary school kids.

This is purely my speculation.  But speculation based on history.  The Boston bombing perpetrator will likely turn out to be one of the anarchists associated with the now defunct "occupy" movement.   Those low information nut jobs were very dissatisfied with the outcome of the occupy movement.  And it is obvious that most of the runners in the marathon are not "homeless" or poverty stricken.   Yes, I can see someone looking at the opportunity to strike out at a "successful" crowd of people.  Successful enough to take the time out to come to Boston to run in a race.  Successful enough to buy running shoes.  And successful enough to spend time conditioning their bodies, instead of protesting. 

Let's see how close I am as this thing runs out.
