I turned on The Five on Fox News this afternoon for a few minutes and noticed that they were talking about President Obama’s appearance this morning at Planned Parenthood and that they were discussing euphemisms people use for abortion.

So I took a look at Obama’s remarks and realized he hadn’t once used the word “abortion” while speaking at a meeting of the nation’s premiere abortion mill.

Here’s what he called abortion instead:

decisions best made between a woman and her doctor

a woman’s constitutional right to privacy

a woman’s right to choose

woman’s health

a woman’s right to make her own choices about her own health

Now, this begs the question, if abortion really isn’t something so terrible, if it’s benign enough to be considered little more than a medical procedure, THEN WHY NOT USE THE WORD??

Instead, Obama avoided it like the plague and went on and on about all the other wonderful services Planned Parenthood provides.

Let’s be real here. Planned Parenthood should obviously have been named Avoiding Parenthood.

“Planned Parenthood” in 2008-2009 earned about 40 percent of its income from providing abortions. In 2009, in performed 332,278 abortions, about one in every four abortions in the United States.

Planned Parenthood is an abortion factory. If you support that, fine, it’s your right. But just, say it.
