I guess the "correct thing" depends on where you are coming from. Yes, Obama did the correct thing, and I am sorry but your indication, the correct thing in this case was to kill more people, mame more children, and go to the blogs and brag about it.

I did not have a correct or not correct rating on the decision of the potus. I have confusion about his confusion. He first tells us how awful Assad is for killing his own people and goes on and on about that and why we need to use military action to do who knows what as that was pretty unclear -it was just clear that nothing that seemed the likely thing to do would occur - like get rid of chemical weapons, Assad and etc. Next breath he says he has asked Congress not to vote on this action. So o o first you say you do and then you don't and then you say you will and then you won't you're undecided now so what are ya gonna do? For a couple of weeks he said he could act without Congressional approval, then wants their approval and now he is back to not now maybe later. I am not sure in all that what you see as correct or how anything we have posted here says that Republicans are murderers.
