I think that we should get rid of the National Parks System and turn control of the parks over to the states in which the parks are located. That way, the next time we have a government shutdown, it won't cost those areas lost revenue from tourists. Plus, military haters like Odammit won't be able to lock up normally open air monuments like the WWII Memorial like he did. You know he did that just for his own amusement.
