Talked with a very close friend who just got Insurance for his daughter through Obama care.  Her new Insurance will cost her $110.00 per month, and it has more coverage than her old one which have been costing her $451.00 per month.  Thank you Obamacare.

All of you Republican NUT Jobs, eat your heart out.  It will work and contribute more to our keeping our money in our billfold that anything a Republican has done in the last 50 years.

Bullshit!

All of us are the problem, in the case of your friend’s daughter she has allowed herself to become a second class citizen by signing up for the ACA.  We have an imperial
government on both sides of the aisle, they tell us (even make it the law that says) everyone will sign up for health care but the elected officials don’t have to follow the same rules (why do you think that is).  It has become time to throw the bums out, all
of them and start over; maybe the answer is term limits or maybe that Washington can’t pass a law, mandate, or tax that excludes them.  Whatever the answer the system is broken that excludes the very ones making the laws from following the laws. BTW someone is making up the difference from 110. to 451. , and I am guessing it’s the people or at the very least the taxpayers still working and paying taxes under this
regime.

SCREWED: Obamacare Increases Premiums for Young People in All 50 States

by Nathan Harden - Fix Editor on October 3, 2013

The Washington Free Beacon reports some bad news today for young people:

Health insurance premiums for young people will rise in all 50 states under Obamacare, with an average increase of 260 percent, according to a study released Thursday.

The young and healthy segment of the uninsured is considered crucial for the Affordable Care Act to succeed. Former President Bill Clinton suggested last week that Obamacare only works “if young people show up.”

However, an analysis of premiums both before and after the implementation of Obamacare shows that 18- to 35-year-olds are likely to opt out of high rates in the exchanges in favor of cheaper penalties for not having insurance.

According to a study released by the American Action Forum, post-Obamacare premiums will average $187.08 per month, up from $62 per month in 2013, a 202 percent increase.  Overall, states averaged an increase of 260 percent.

Forty-four out of 50 states saw a three-digit percent increase, and in Vermont the cheapest available premium for a 30 year-old male nonsmoker will increase by $332.69, or 600 percent…

600% increase? It’s ironic that Obama named it the “Affordable Care Act.”

What a disaster.
