1. How is obamacare actually going to reduce the cost of medical care for the vast majority of Americans? (pretty please?) (The current escalating costs of medical care in the U.S. in large part is due to government regulations, bureaucracy, and the trial lawyers assoc. lobbyists). 2. Most Americans who currently visit Thailand and Singapore for surgery are there for cosmetic surgery. |

We can fix the cost. Half again what others pay for somewhat inferior results. People travel from here to Thailand and Singapore for surgery at half the price it costs here. On a side note; I wonder why we have so many foreign doctors coming to the US? They are everywhere in my own home town clinics and hospitals. There is a message there. |

Now again.....people from all over the world come here for care. We lead the planet in research discoveries. We treat illegals who wander into emergency rooms. It takes 20 minutes to set up private insurance online.
If you'd care to go to Japan or Norway for serious health care, have at it. But none of this explains why we need to fix what's working.
