The recent article where Gates stated Obama lost faith in war is hopefully true.  It is definitely clear the recent wars the U.S. was in have been wrong.  Yes, perhaps we should acknowledge it is necessary for us to have the best military in the world, and I believe we do.  There is no reason for the U.S. to impose ourselves upon other nations just for the sake of money and power of our rich.  The original invasion of Kuwait could possibly be the soie exception, but please keep in mind we were the ones who encouraged the invasion of Kuwait by Saddam in the beginning.  All for the dollar.

We may be entering another phase whereby the American Solder will loose faith in the U.S. because we are rapidly approaching the abandonment of the solder after he/she served.   VA benefits are important, and should be encouraged not be a political pawn by politicians, or guess what we won't have the best Army in the World. 

nobama didn't lose faith in war. He lost faith in HIS OWN war policy, strategy, and mission. A noted failure.

But none of that has stopped him has it? He's been launching missiles and drones against other countries now. And look at the recent articles on the escalating dangers and terror back in Iraq, where he never ended any war or brought the last of any combat troops home!

A two-faced loser voted for by liberals, who was nothing more than a community organizer. Of course, he was not qualified to run the world's greatest military, let alone this country! How could stupid liberals think otherwise.

Just because BB is smart enough to recognize the blatant incompetence of the obumbler, does not mean that he, or anyone else on this forum, is knowledgeable enough or qualified  to give military advice.  It's pretty brainless and naive to even ask the questions malodery asked in the post above.
