Having just read the Des Moines Register article about the tasering in our County Jail, and taken the time to listen to the video, I must ask the following question. Why is the County Attorney attempting to cover the issue? He is supposed to be protecting the public, and it appears he is covering up something.
Hmmm, lets see. County Supervisors three Republicans, two Democrats, (minority) Republican County Attorney, Democrat Sheriff. Democrats have asked for investigation, Republicans are "silent" Who is the most powerful, the Sheriff or the County Attorney? Who told who to shut-up and cover-up? Who gave the order to switch computers with the nurse, then lie about no records, then all e-mails disappeared?
Sleep safe at night, because our County officials are there to protect us all.
