Remember?  Their entire selling point in the lead up to passing the law was insuring the supposed 30 to 40 million uninsured.  The point of this whole thing was to provide insurance for those who were previously uninsured!  To make sure everyone had insurance.  Well, how many of those who even signed up were previously uninsured??

And the answer to that question is.............. 1.8%.

858,000 uninsured got coverage.  The administration claims 46.7 million were uninsured.  Congratulations, after one trillion in expenses, 6.2 million lose coverage, $5 billion spent on promotion, one sixth of the economy turned on its head, 50 new exchanges and 189 new boards after four years, 98.2% of the uninsured remain uninsured.

The President took a victory lap for this?

And dividing the $1.5 trillion by 858,000 to show that every previously uninsured person now insured cost $1.75 million.  A monument of government waste.

In additon, they spent 600 million on a website and 52 million in advertising. they could have givng each one of those 7.1 million people they claim signed up, $75,000 each.

And we now, all know, this was never about getting people without health insurance, health insurance.  That was just another LIE coming from obumbler and the democrats to cram this down our throat.  And the proof is that is most of the UNINSURED are still UNINSURED.  CBO says that even after all is said and done over 30 million people will remain UNINSURED, which is most of them.  This folks was about a massive Socialistic Government takeover of the single biggest area of the economy, and the one that gives the Government/Obama, the most control over us.  If Obama and the Democrats have total control over our ability to get life saving healthcare for ourselves and our families, then they control our lives almost completely.  With that power they can buy votes by the millions and punish those just by changing who gets what and who pays.  Its a massive Power grab by Obama and the democrats.  Massive!

The thing I am surprised at is the false or embellished stories you can come up with.  The facts are people  get insurance now who NEVER had insurance before.   Insurance Companies can still rip off their clients, but not as much.  Obamacare would never have to be in existence if Insurance Companies hadn't been ripping off their insured.  Look at the underbelly of Insurance.  The industry calls it "Loading Factor", "Pre existing", "mortality tables", on and on.  Keep raising the prices, not for the benefit of the insured, but for the Insurance Companies.  

All of a sudden a Hurricane hits the South, but Insurance doesn't pay because it wasn't the hurricane, but the water damage it did, and that meant flood insurance.  A person purchases a policy to pay an elder's nursing home coverage, and once the Insured is in the home they wait for six months before they start paying.  Most nursing homes will not wait six months to get their payments, but it makes Insurance companies more profitable.

Yes, I am glad Obamacare is here, and guess what, we can continue to make it better unless the Insurance companies spend some of their profits buying politicians.
