Does anyone know where the division in reproducing cartoons and articles is in relation to copyright violations?  I was always under the assumptions that there was a possibility of copyright violations if a person reproduced a cartoon.

Help me out with some expertise here. 

I'd ask Mobay.  He seems to be the expert.
