Trump's statement about being captured doesn't make John a hero may need some discussion.  Does the fact Johnnie got rid of his wife and recruited a show piece make him a hero.  Does the fact that he was captured and in effect out of the war make him a hero?  

Do we have to consider Earnst a hero because she was in a theater of battle, but never in battle?

Do we have to co consider the Marine who lost both legs to a mine a hero?

I think we do.  

Weather you were drafted or enlisted, you placed your personal health and live in a position of risk, this should make you a hero.

After listening to the news where the establishment is telling Trump to shut up, about War hero Newt.   Trump has brought one thing to the surface - - - Newt hasn't done a Dam thing for the Vets, but has gotten a lot of money for some of his corporate cronies back home.   He has said he will help the vets.
