Muscatine

How many people have gone to China from Muscatine, and who has paid for the trip?

Hoppy, City Administrator,  maybe its time to look into their paying back the Taxpayers or maybe its not. 

I'll bet the answer would be very interesting.

"Since then, that relationship has led to more connections, such as cultural and student educational exchanges. The Merrill Hotel and Conference Center project has been part of a growing economic relationship, one that has seen Chen and Wang purchase the former Marie Lindsey Building at 129 W. Second St. as well as two homes in Muscatine. The city also was host to a delegation from Shanghai last month with the intention on growing ties to that city.

"I have a feeling that's just the beginning," Hopkins said.

Hopkins said no taxpayer funds will be used for the trip, during which he and wife Jill will be visiting Shanghai, Beijing and the Great Wall of China. One stop he is looking forward to the most is a return to Zhengding County and renewing acquaintances with Mayor Yang, whom he now considers a close friend."

Nice for Hoppy, but how about the question?  City Administrator? Who actually paid for the Mayor and his wife?

Why do you come here and ask questions of others? You keep proving my point that you are research-limited and pay no attention to things already published as public information. You are just a typical lazy commie liberal. BTW....I didn't see you at the second Mississippi Drive Corridor presentation.
