I just wanted to inform the Neighborhood, that there is a SCAM going on here in Muscatine!  I was called last night by a resident of Muscatine, asking if the VFW Post 1565, 421 Mulberry Avenue, here in Muscatine, was soliciting money for our Local Post!   I am the Post Quartermaster, and, THERE ARE NO FUND RAISERS (NOT that we can't use the money), being held by OUR Post.  This IS apparently a scam being being initiated by someone that MUST be somewhat close to our organization!  IF anyone gets approached PLEASE get as much information out of these folks as you can, and, then email me at:  pricelesspics@machlink.com.    I WOULD appreciate it.  We don't need this kind of advertisement when we are trying so desperately to get our Post Home back on an even keel.  Thank You, and PLEASE pass this along to your friends who do not, or cannot participate in these discussions.  Tom Milder
