Dear Neighbors,
What was the worst driving move one has ever witnessed in the confines of the city of Pawtucket? My award winner occurred at the intersection of Lee and Tweed Streets on July 4. In a vehicle traveling east of Lee and south on Tweed, a pretty young woman raises her left hand to wave at me. However, her left arm stayed outside the motor vehicle.
Being flattered, I returned the gesture. However, I noticed her right arm was around her boyfriend. Quickly, I noticed that both her feet were wrapped around the car's steering wheel. Thus, her male friend, sitting in the passenger's seat, was probably using his feet to manipulate the accelator and brake.
This was one of those cliched cases of , "Where is the police officer?" I do not know if my suspects are still alive. Hopefully, they did not reproduce.
By the way, look out for speeding ticket greetings from the Pawtucket Police. They are swarming on the east side of Pawtucket near the Cottage Street Stop & Shop. On August 14, one police officer had three allegedly speeding vehicles pulled over on George Bennett Way, formerly known as East Pawtucket Industrial Highway.
