Onsite childcare and interpretation will be available upon request. Please be sure to indicate this when your register. The Youth at Risk Coalition invites families of children and youth at risk for or who are experiencing the challenges of school attendance and truancy to come learn more about the truancy court process. This will include a discussion to strategize proactive approaches to reducing truancy and increasing the engagement of families and youth. Mission The Youth at Risk Coalition will work towards building and enhancing protective factors for children and youth at risk for truancy by examining research with respect to prevalence, best practices, and creating training and technical assistance opportunities for developing and implementing new practices in partnership with families, schools, organizations, and local, state, and federal government |

Interesting look at Central Falls getting tougher on their curfews with multiple curfew violations bring stiff fines and fees to parents as well as a lock up in the classrooms of the Wyatt Center for parent pickup. Should Pawtucket do the same? |
