Am sure with New England weather changes it may change and disarm the arsenal of the army around the state ready for the snowfall of non deafning proportions...but the kids out of school are enabled and we are disabled too...with their needs today

Well a few hours later the wet flakes are here. looks like most are home and off the road...so hopefully with the snow arsenal folks, it will be a EZ travel day on Saturday. Does the rain next week say a white or gray xmas time?

As long as we have each other..it will be a wonderful time. Merries and Happies thru 2009!

Well- we certainly hit the daily double withFriday/ yesterday and todays storm and then the rain washing some away but with the freezing temps predicted..a real fun commute tomorrow I expect plus car doors frozen etc...so make sure the doors are unlocked just to be safe...so maybe a trifecta......

How was the plowing and neighbors shovelling and moving cars on your streets?

Here the plows did a good job...although maybe when they clean up they will do the curb to curb. In any case, for the first real storm, Pawtucket surpassed Providence and many other communities I am sure from my trips around.

Dear Arthur and friends,

As of Sunday, Dec. 21 at 6 p.m.,  the hills and valleys of Pawtucket have received about 18 inches of heavy snow and ice.  I wonder if school will be postponed on Dec. 22 and Dec. 23.  Warwick has postponed classes by early Sunday.

Yes, the city plows did a decent job at least around the Newport and Central Avenues area.  Have an enjoyable pre-Christmas season.

Peace,

Jim
