I am sure many neighbors remember the places and times where the underage drinkers got their fix and maybe still do, but let's make this MINOR issue a major success by deleting the problem in 2008 and 2009....TOGETHER

Dear Arthur and friends, What terrifies me about underage drinking the most is that General Assemblies in Rhode Island and Vermont have recently considered lowering the drinking age back to 18. Under the U.S. Constitution, it is a state government power to impose a drinking age. Thanks be that many years ago, Congress attached federal highway funding to each state as long as the state adhered to the drinking age at 21. Oddly enough when I canvassed for a presidential candidate, one teenagers biggest worry was not about the terrorism wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but the federal lowering of the drinking age. Very scary.
Peace, Jim

That is really scary and that is why we wiser and maturer people must stop them or maybe the feds will with the highway funds which we sure need |
