Dear Arthur and friends, The city Building Inspector ruled on Jan. 1 the Park Place Congregational building was safe, except for a small room on the southwest side of the basement. The Saturday 4 p.m. meals will be distributed in the church auditorium, as usual.
Thanks, Jim |

Soup Kitchen continues on Park Place.. No one was badly injured, thank goodness! Fortunately, the building inspector says the big room is OK, no danger there. So, we will now serve in the big room, the kitchen is OK, too. Happy New Year and count your blessings! |

Dear Arthur and friends, Not all is well with Park Place Congregational. The Pawtucket Times reported on Saturday, January 3 that this weekend Sunday services at Park Place will be canceled. According to the Times article, the collapsed ceiling damaged both the electrical and heating system in the building. More information will be forthcoming.
Peace, Jim |
