NAP- Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket

Dear Arthur and friends,

The neighborhood  dinner Arthur led proved an educational experience on Sunday, January 25.  However, what causes one to lose appetite seems to be the negativity of a future mayoral candidate now acting as city council president.

As the councilman fielded questions on topics such as  urban renewal, riverfront redevelopment, the state budget crisis, and  Pawtucket home foreclosures, he found many ways to say ideas were impossible.

Never witnessed before seemed the masterful way the city council president dodged questions and said something was impossible.  Original solutions and ideas seemed sorely lacking.

In closing, the city council president should be doing some necessary reading and preparation before entering a group of concerned neighbors.

So folks...would a neighborhood summit be timely in February to have some of the hard questions answered with solutions? Would you attend and who would you like to see there and what are your questions?

That would be a good idea...sorry I missed today but we had prior stuff to do...would have made it last week without the snow.

Dear Arthur,

I would like to see the entire city council present.  Yes, I would attend.
