Dear friends,
My ideal candidate for Rhode Island governor: one 45-65 year old male or female part-time wage earners, who lost several jobs from closing and/or outsourced textile or jewelry factories. The candidate must understand the snafus in the state welfare system after having experienced at least one catastrophic illness, snags in unemployment benefits, and several layoffs from minimum wage jobs. Ideal candidate must experience frustration at lack of state agency response when calling or e-mailing.
Candidate must have quit school at 16 or 17 years old and received high school diploma or GED. Successful candidate must have finished one year at the Community College of Rhode Island and learned what he lost by not having the proper education. One of his three children must be a state college graduate who is having difficulty finding a decent job after a three year search.
Neighbors, want to fill in the other empty requirements?
Jim
