Agreed...but one thing we also need to worry about is what Woonsocket and others have put in is these Hookah bars....smoking galore thru those pipes...just what we need to attract bad problems and deaths

May 4, 2009 Dear Max and friends, Because African food proves extremely spicy, I would highly doubt any RIPTA customer without the taste buds or wallet power would enter Village Restaurant. By the way, does anyone know which of the 46 downtown bars still remain?

Cafe Lila might be ok but not sure the Village is the place for liquor with the type of food and closeness to the RIPTA area.
I'd argue that The Village would be more appropriate, since Kafe Lila closes rather early. (Better yet, they should stay open later so I could actually go there once in a while!) |

Maybe with liquor they would stay open longer, but who knows if we did limited licenses, it might help...I think the only bar place I recall was the one past the librarynear a parking lot as I have vague recollections only. You know as we have no parking makes it difficult to have people want to dine and drink.. |
