Youth Talent Slam/Contest

WHO:        Youth from across the state and Substance Abuse Prevention Task Forces from Woonsocket, East Providence, and Pawtucket as well as tobacco control advocates from Progreso Latino, Urban League of Rhode Island.

WHAT:      Contest where youth performers compete in a Talent Show for over $1,000 in prizes including I-pods, MP3 and DVD Players and four hours of studio time. All contestants are required to include an anti-tobacco message in their performance.  Judges will decide the contest winners.  Free food, t-shirts and door prizes will be distributed. All acts must register. Only 25 Spots available.

I assume Arthur posted the 29th workshop for youth with disabilities. Thanks as I will pass along to a friend who will sign her son up for a neat program. A teacher friend said the recycling for education place is pretty neat too
