The Pawtucket Library is having focus groups for children, professionals, teachers and parents who are all working with children's needs.

Call 725-3714 x209 if you want to be part of one of the focus groups in June!

Tentative schedule is for June 2nd at 3:30 for kids in grades 4-6

                                                             6:30 for adults using Childrens Library

and on June 9th at 6:30 for caregivers/parents for pre-K to 3rd grade.

Dear Arthur and Jimmy,

As the economy continues to stagnate, I really believe the Pawtucket Library will become busier.  The Pawtucket Library has many factors for success.

The main working point for the library seems to be the prices of books at retail stores. In the past few years, bookstores have become too expensive.  Second of all, The library now has parking nearby and is handicapped accessible.  Third of all, the library possesses great help such as Paul, Matt, and Missy and others, if anyone has any reference, computer, or book checkout questions. 

In closing, where else can access be given to the Elizabeth Johnson Pawtucket History Research Center?

I think it is only thru the library now...but perhaps with more dollars from a planned funding campaign, more options might be available.

Any ideas for the children's room?
