NOTICE OF PUBLIC FORUM


The federal Administration on Developmental Disabilities will be conducting a review of the following federally funded organizations:


*  Rhode Island Developmental Disabilities Council
*  Rhode Island Disability Law Center
*  Paul V. Sherlock Center on Disabilities

As part of this review, comments are solicited from interested parties on their experiences with the work of these organizations in addressing the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Rhode Island. A public forum for this purpose will be held:

            Tuesday, July 14, 2009
            4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
            Rhode Island College
Student Union, 3rd Floor Ballroom
            600 Mount Pleasant Avenue
            Providence, Rhode Island
            (Parking is available in lots H, I, J and K)

If you plan on attending and wish to speak, we encourage you to contact the RI Disability Law Center at 831-3150 (Voice) or 831-5335 (TTY) by Friday, July 10, 2009 so that we may place you on the schedule.  Accommodations will be provided if requested prior to Thursday, July 9.
