I keep seeing these guys picking thru our blue bins picking out cans and bottles.

I thought it was against the law.

Does anyone enforce these rules and arrest these guys....?

Actually they can and have been arrested. I believe the fine is 50-100 bucks and the cans that they collected, but you need to call the police at 725-3911 to report these scavenger thieves.

Those cans even to the folks who look needy cost you tax dollars to pay for the trash tipping fees and our recycling quotas. We pay more fees if the recycles are too low.

good reminder as we always feel sorry for these folks but with all the stuff on id theft...good reason for them not doing it and even possible casing the houses
