Dear Neighbors,
One suggestion to honor the ailing social activist Henry Shelton. The City Council should attempt to change the name of East Avenue into Henry Shelton Ave. To revamp the topic, Barton Street should be changed to Esperanza Boulevard. Barton Street always sounded too bland.
What are the neighbors take on this?

It might be a nice idea to change a street, but not sure East Avenue would be the proper placement. Perhaps Barton St might become named for Henry Shelton as Shelton Street |

Maybe East Avenue Extension, since it has been severed from East Avenue for the past fifty years or so. |
