With a stream of news about foreclosures and underwater mortgages, some potential homebuyers may be leery of entering the housing market. However, according to Chris Hannifan, executive director of the Housing Network of Rhode Island, "there are many high quality, affordable homes available, along with the resources to help you buy and keep your home for many years to come."
On Saturday, March 20 and Sunday, March 21 from 11:00am to 2:00pm, the Housing Network and its members will host Open Houses of high quality, affordable homes in Providence, Pawtucket, Bristol, Westerly, Narragansett, and Woonsocket.
In their event booklet, you can glimpse photos of the many properties available across the Ocean State. The homes range from new construction to historic rehabilitation and many are Energy Star Certified to save on utility costs. All the homes have been developed with the hard work and dedication of many different community groups and are move-in ready.
