Fairlawn's anti-crime FACT sending out leadership ballots
PAWTUCKET - Organizers of FACT, Fairlawn Against Crime Together, are sending out ballots to members for the purpose of voting in a leadership board. Ballots are being e-mailed or dropped off at homes for those who don't have access to e-mail. Anyone who doesn't receive one, or is not sure what to do with the one received, is encouraged to call City Councilor Jim Chadwick, at 475-6058, or community organizer Vic Ventura, at 724-7658. FACT members are electing a board in order to help the neighborhood fledgling crime-fighting organization in its effort to apply for and obtain grant funding. Organizers are asking that Fairlawn residents send in their ballots within one week of receiving them.
