Dear Arthur,
Write in candidates are becoming a disturbing trend. As one city hall official said to me, it is a sign of laziness to not meet the public and get the required number of signatures in order to be placed on the ballot. However, with the public mood and personal finances in flux, people will vote many strange ways this year.

Good Luck to all of them...but somehow seems to be much adoo about nothing. Where were they before as independents or are they rogue spirits... There was a spirited contest before and the people spoke out-Let us give Don a try to run the city as 2/3 rds of the people wanted.
