Thanks for your help with Warm Hearts Coat Day + review
Much appreciated thanks by me + all our many neighbors/recipients of lots of warm coats + things on Friday.
The terrific help I received from some great volunteers enabled me + NAP to be free to expand our efforts. Next year we hope to implement more of your suggestions made and that you can share now. Please share any ideas.
We were virtually cleaned out of virtually everything despite larger efforts by many groups + people. We only packed up a single boxful of coats
I am guessing we shared 5500- 6000 items. Amazing that we filled so many needs with such few problems with your great help. Coats + other warm donations were collected by so many organizations + people with groups. Many individuals even were so helpful + generous with so much.
We were blessed this year even with a check to help cover some expenses.
This year we even had music from the RSVP band + even more kids books from Books on Wings.
Enjoy a Healthy + Happy Holiday season + a great 2012 and we would love to have your super help again on November 23, 2012. Thanks.

PS Some of your suggestions include the use of some Hefty kitchen tall trash bags, ticket #'s for people in line, NAP tee shirts for Volunteer Staff to help identify, earlier times for coat sorting, putting empty boxes in storage areas and a secure place for your valued items.
