Attorney General
Kilmartin Collecting Winter
Apparel for the
Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket’s
Annual Warm
Hearts Coats & Stuff Drive
With many Rhode Islanders struggling financially, Attorney General
Peter F. Kilmartin is partnering with the Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket to
collect winter apparel as part of the annual “Warm Hearts Coats & Stuff
Drive.”
Now through Monday, November 19th, the public can
donate new or slightly worn winter coats, scarves, hats, and gloves for
children and adults at the Attorney General’s Office located at 150 South Main
Street, Providence. The Office is open
from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
“The temperature has started to drop, and many families are
struggling to get by, worried how to pay the rent and afford heat for the
winter. They should not also have to
worry about buying a winter coat for themselves or their children. This is an easy way for people to clean out
their closets and ensure everyone who needs a coat this winter has one,” said
Attorney General Kilmartin.
