MAYOR GREBIEN SEEKS RESPONSES FROM PAWTUCKET RESIDENTS INTERESTED IN SERVING ON CITY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS
PAWTUCKET -- Mayor Donald R. Grebien announced that his administration is once again seeking letters of interest and availability from Pawtucket residents who wish to serve on one of the city’s numerous boards and commissions.
“Encouraging participation in our city government by residents throughout our diverse community will always be a high priority of my administration,” Grebien said. “As part of my transparency pledge, I would like to hear from everyone who would like the opportunity to serve on one of our boards or commissions.”
A full list of the boards and commissions is available on the city’s Web site at www.pawtucketri.com. Anyone who wishes to serve is required to be a Pawtucket resident and at least 18 years of age. All appointments are subject to available openings. Submissions should be received by Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.
Letters with a background resume should be mailed to the Mayor’s Office, Pawtucket City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, 02860 or sent by email to lvargas@pawtucketri.com. In the body of the letter please state on which board or commission you would like to serve and your general availability.
Information sent by anyone who has previously submitted to serve remains on file for consideration and does not have to re-submitted
