The average start date of the monsoon season is July 7 and with our recent
climb in humidity and cloud build-up, it seems we may be close. The season
can typically last through mid-September with rainfall during this period
averaging 2.65 inches. Remember that higher humidity may be hard on us but
it is easier on plants. These recommendations are for plants that are
established in the landscape (in the ground about 2 years).
