--NE Corner -- Exciting news! St Gabriel's Catholic Church bought the property in Dec 99. This is great since it was high-density commercial. St Gabe's currently meets at Mtn Ridge MS. Building will likely not begin until 2001 or later.
--Site east of church site (N of Research, W of Scarborough). Large multi-family site. Echelon development plan for 385 luxury apartments (35 ft max height) approved in Aug 98. Unknown construction start.
--SW Corner. More good news! Plans are being worked for a 1 and 2 story veterinarian/medical center. Same builder as site north of 7-11 on Rangewood.
Preliminary plans/discussions for hospital/medical facilities adjacent to YMCA near corner of Rangewood and Austin Bluffs. No formal development plan submitted to date. We and the city have not heard anything in many months
Significant land at corner of future corner of Research and Powers. Update! Restaurants, stores, etc being discussed at SW corner. This will likely pick up when Powers connects to Research in 2001.
