My mailbox was mowed down by a car or truck today 12/08/2008-I

heard a scraping sound and looked outside and saw my mailbox

on the street. There is also another mailbox mowed down in Oakforge

Lakes  within the past couple of weeks. I could see the tracks in the snow where

they drove up onto my lawn and then ran over my mailbox. Reported to

police.

Thank you for reporting this and sharing this information with all of our neighbors.  If any of you see or witness any activities like this, please give us a description of the car you saw or a liscense plate number.  The board will be calling the police to see if we can't get an increased patrol or at the very least some traffic control in our neighborhood in the hopes of curtailing some of this trash.
