It gives me great great sadness to let you know that our dear friend Lisa Timmer and several other of the Neighborhood Watch employees have been terminated. This is so wrong. These people have done nothing but help and enhance the Neighborhood Watch program. Maryanne Hunsberger has been has been demoted. It concerns me greatly about the future of the Neighborhood Watch. If I were you and I can assure you this is what I'm going to do is to e-mail all the silly officials that did this. It's time for us to acknowledge all the things that these people have done for us over the years. One of the reasons Neighborhood Watch is so vibrant in Tampa is because of the work that these people do. Lisa Timmer one of the most dedicated person to her job that I have ever run across. For the Police Department to terminate such a dedicated individual is beyond me. I have seen many people in government who deserve to be terminated and Lisa is just not one of them. To demote Maryanne Hunsberger after all she's done is just wrong as well. So I hope you will take a moment or two of your time and let these people in office know how you feel. I want every one to think about what will happen to our Neighborhood Watch program without these people guiding us.
