KIPDA #969 is a study to create a partial interchange at the Watterson Expressway and Manslick Rd. This will
1. Allow for a quicker ambulance run time to St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital's emergency room at 1850 Bluegrass Ave.
2. Allow for easier and faster access to I-264 for large tractor trailer trucks at trucking companies on Shively KY1931 businesses and downtown Louisville, thus removing them from Berry Blvd. and KY 1865, to gain quick and safe access to I-264. Note: KY 1931 is 4 lanes north of I-264 all the way into downtown Louisville.
3. Allows I-264 faster access for the 1,400 home Cloverleaf subdivision and one half of our 2,800 home Neighborhood Association's boundaries.
KIPDA #454 is a plan to widen Palatka Rd to 3 lanes from Third St. Rd to St Andrews Church Rd. It is a winding narrow road without sidewalks.
KIPDA #446 is a plan to widen Manslick Rd. to 4 lanes from the Watterson Expressway to Palatka Rd.
