North Pointe Homeowner's Association

Thanks for letting us know.....

The information in the last newsletter about the proposed use of the land in Hamner "Park" was very interesting. How can a change in land use go forth without any notification to residents in the neighborhood. We certainly don't need anymore traffic on our already crowded road and this kind of facility doesn't seem to fit in this area. What becomes of the buildings after this group is finished with them in the future. This seems to be another instance of slipping something by without the knowledge of the people it will effect most. Let's let these people know just how we feel. Come to the meeting on the 16th.
An Outrage

First thanks to those who developed this web site. I have been a homeowner since 1978 and have always been proud of being a North Pointe resident.

The Hammer Tower clearing for leisure walks, picnics, etc. was an excellent idea, and I helped in the original clean up. It was my understanding that Hillsborough County "gave" this protected property to the residents as long as we kept it up. Now, it appears someone with $$$$ in their eyes want to commercialize it for their own benefits.

Does our Board have any say in this matter???? This is truly an outrage! We do not need a few people (in comparative numbers) use this area to view a building. Yes, it would cause traffic problems at the very busy intersection of North Boulevard and Fletcher, but would also deter from the natural beauty of the area.

I OPPOSE THE CHANGE.
