The Woodlands subdivision is so beautiful with the trees and such but it seems that there is quite a lot of loose trash in the common areas along some of the streets that, quite frankly, I am ashamed of everytime I drive through the neighborhood. In a subdivision without so much wooded common ground some trash might be able to be tolerated; however, when even a small amount of trash is found in a wooded area, it can quickly start looking like a dumping ground. I am not speaking about the trash associated with new construction. It seems to me that most homeowners keep their yards looking beautiful but pay no attention to the common area just across the street. I realize that people have busy lives and that it is not their responsiblity, but it might help if the homeowners paid attention to these areas. Some of this trash is most probably related to the trash pickups on Friday when a few pieces do not make it into the garbage truck. I would be willing to participate in a group that would, perhaps, once a month, go about picking up all this common ground trash and, as we have a lot of walkers in the subdivision, perhaps picking up one piece of trash during the course of their walk might also be worthwhile.
Thank you.
Thank you.
