I thought I would pass the word that we have spoken with the local president of Pulte Homes to check on the current status of the townhouses, who advised us that Hitt/Eatherly were attempting to sell the property to them for 4x what they paid for it; Pulte's response was thanks but no thanks. Mike also checked with his contact at the Jones Co., who said he had been approached by them also, and had also told them no. Both builders said there are so many unsold homes in the area they are not interested in starting up a new project of this size at this time.
