Rezoning Meeting

Someone who attended the rezoning meeting today please post how it went. I don't drive and was unable to attend, and I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear...thanks.

Bad News

Looks like after much discussion the planning commission passed the zoning change. It was my understanding that this was first reading. Mr. Don Knoch, our esteemed councilman, refused to consider the most recent petition. Now it looks like we must convince him before second reading that these petitions were signed by homeowners who had had more time and much more information with which to make an informed decision. It is obvious by the numbers that many, and I include myself in that, changed their minds. We must each contact Mr. Knoch to explain to him the reasoning behind our decision.
