It is unfortunate that I must inform you that after many discussions with other association members, the WSHOA board of directors as well as the management of Neighborhood Links, the board has decided that it would be in the best interests of our community to close this section(Talk About It) of the website. The community does not support this type of behavior and does not want it to continue. The potential libelous messages of some people could subject your association to unwanted litigation and the associated expense.

In the near future we will post a procedure for homeowners to communicate questions to the board.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Will Sellers

Questions

A better explanation it required. The association is owed the asnwers to the following questions at a minimum:

Please define ''other association members''. How many? Were these discussion public or private?

Was the neighborhood attorney consulted?

Was a meeting called? Proper notification made? Who was present? Were proper procedures followed? (Robert's Rules) Was a motion made? Seconded? Discussion? What was the final vote?

How can the association be held libel? What is the associations exposure?

It is my honest opinion that most of the undesirable posting on this site could be avoided by frank and honest answers from the board. Extinquishing a fire when it is small is certainly the best approach. Didn't they teach you that in cert?
when

when will this incident be taking place? it seems to the zen master that you would not post it you would just do it and post in the newsletter why you did it. do you not seek more controversy by doing it this way?
