I was out of town for most of the Holidays.  3 full weeks for Christmas.  I left 10 days before Christmas   I scheduled my mail to be held at Minuet Station carrier annex. 

I constantly have issues with mail not showing up.    It is just never delivered.  I often get other neighbors mail in my box and in turn play mailman and deliver it to their houses.   Hopefully if any of our neighbors are geting others mail they are putting it back out on their boxes or delivering it to the correct house. 

I have informed delivery so I know what is coming each day.  

When my mail was delivered last Monday the 6th of Jan I was home.  It came very early just after 9 am.  I grabbed the mail and started sorting through it. 

I noticed immediately that at least 5 of the 6 Holiday cards that I should have received were missing.   Last year 2 cards never came.   One was the same person this year..

I do a lost mail inquirey and the sorry post master (JERK) at Minute responds that you need to give it a week from when it shows up on informed mail.   It has been 2 full weeks from when they put it in the hold mail.   They really could care less.   He has a crook in his station and does not bother to investigate.  He should be fired.  

The post office could care less about theft of mail or missing mail.  I am going to do a police report this time. 

I even provided the names of what was missing along with one piece of mail from Meck County.

If you are not using informed delivery set it up for free.  You will be shocked at what you don't get.

I was at a dinner in the neighborhood friday night.  One attendee said he was the end of the stop for his route. He said that he was always getting all the mail left over or not delivered in his box. He went over to Minuet Station and complained and they put his stop first on the route.   

There is NO EXCUSE for mail to not reach our homes.  Lost mail happens, but not as much as it happens to me. 

My guess is someone in that Minuet station is a Theif.  They were probably hoping to find cash or gift cards in the held mail.    That one card that came showed up on like a Monday on informed delivery, and then like 3 days later showed up on that days delivery.   It is not scanned in that annex.  That was also one of the people that send cards 2 years ago that did not arrive. 

I don't think it is my carrier, I think someone is getting into before it gets delivered.
